Amy M. Trahan

Trayectoria

Amy M. Trahan represents District 4 — northwest Lafayette — and was elected in 2023, taking office in January 2024. She is assistant dean of finance and administration at LSU's graduate school.

Trahan has worked across education from pre-K through higher education in public finance, budgets, procurement, and policy, including prior work with the Lafayette Parish School Board. She has focused on recruiting and retaining qualified teachers and on major northside infrastructure projects.
